Hello..... and welcome.
Firstly, thank you for trusting me to help you improve your smartphone photography. You take lots of photos – on your phone and have developed a love of photography.
Now, let’s take them to the next level. We have all said the image doesn’t do it justice. This course is going to make all your images look as amazing as they deserve to be.
This course leads you from beginner to more advanced techniques. It is broken down into 6 modules. Each is jam-packed, with five lessons totalling 30 lessons throughout the course!
Most lessons include a video, walking you through the why and when of the technique or tool before demonstrating how to use it. On average, these are under 8 minutes in length.
Feel free though, to jump around between modules and subjects to those that interest you. My suggestion is to work through from the start. A refresher on content that you are already familiar is also quite valuable.
Each week, the next module will be unlocked for you to study at your own pace. released and available to read and watch. If you clicked/tapped in the box at signup, allowing me to send you emails, you will be notified by email. Alternatively, just log in at any time to see where you are up to.
How much time do I need to allocate to each module?
Total of just over four hours of video and two hours and 50 minutes of reading! The reading time is calculated on word count and based on an average to fast reader pace.
Download video and audio
Video can be viewed at a faster speed by clicking/tapping on the setting in the bottom right corner of the video. The audio can also be downloaded separately to be listened to on your walk or commute. After all the modules have been released, you can download all the video and printable PDF. If you would like to access these prior, please contact Mike.
We all have different learning styles. Passively watching a video is great for some. You may prefer to be hands-on and be following along with my practical demonstrations on your phone. Bit harder, if you are watching the video on your smartphone!
You may even prefer to learn by skim reading through text – hence, why this text is here for you...
At the end of each week, there is a task to get you involved and practising what you have learned. We all learn differently. Me, I get excited with new knowledge and like to be hands-on and get out there practising.
You will too and can share your results (photos and comments), right here, inside the course in the comments below.
